1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 This Shelby SFM6S1277 has been here for a fair amount of its life. Restored in 2003 and painted back to its original color. The hipo 289 which has the K code vin number stamped on the block and the C servo C-4 transmission were rebuilt as all of the other components of this car. The Ford and Shelby numbers are retained in the engine bay sheet metal. The motor starts right up no noises, leaks or smoke. The transmission engages and shifts smooth through all of the forward/ reverse gears. I have had this car out on the highway and up to speed, it is a well sorted out car. The wipers, headlights, turn signals all work and I believe this to be a very road worthy car. There are some occasional small chips/ cracks and scratches but nothing catastrophic in the cut buff polish paint job. There is one rust spot starting to push through in the front corner of the passengers door but has not cracked yet. It is underneath the GT 350 stripe and is hardly noticeable. Part of the drivers floor pan was replaced either due to rust or damage but she still has her original quarter panels. The total brake system/ front- rear suspension have had all of there components replaced. There are to many items to list so please just ask me. The fuel cell, roll bar, and rear shelf were added by the previous owner. However, the rear seat is not available. Clean history.
